![]() Having the money from the vault would have saved their lives just liked crossing the border the difference is ending of the 3rd episode proves why Finn's plan was way too risky and not ideal but Parting Ways ending just doesn't do that. By choosing to cross the border even though you know you are going to kill innocent people(and might even result in your and Daniel's death), you are in a way doing the same thing Finn did. Does that sound similar to something? Yes, Finn's heist plan. You don't know if you and Daniel are going to get hurt. You might argue that it is the best for everyone after you see the ending but before seeing it you have no clue what will happen. 2: Daniel has high morale and you risk your and Daniel's lives by making an immoral choice. If I break it down, 1: Daniel has high morale and you don't risk anyone's life (which is the case because you don't kill any innocent police officers but in return you go to jail). ![]() ![]() Before making your choice you are supposed to not know the outcome. The game just doesn't punish you for what you chose. Daniel lives a stable life and Sean goes to Mexico with Cassidy/Finn but that's why it is my least favorite ending. While Parting Ways can be the best ending in the way that it gives the best outcome, it is the worst ending storywise. This isn't exactly a review but my thoughts on why Parting Ways is an undeserved gift to the player. I love this game and think it is a masterpiece in the gaming industry as you can understand by the fact that I gave it a 10.
